News (New Expressway in UP) The expressway network in Uttar Pradesh is expanding rapidly. New expressways are being built daily. Now, another new expressway will be built in Uttar Pradesh. This expressway will make travel easier for millions of people. 

Which expressway will be operational?

The longest expressway in the country, Uttar Pradesh (Uttar Pradesh Expressway), is about to open. Currently, the Ganga Expressway from Prayagraj to Meerut is being awaited. 

It is scheduled to open soon. The anticipation for the new expressway is growing rapidly. Now, it will open soon. Once the expressway opens, travel from Purvanchal to West UP will become easier.  

What is the update on Ganga Expressway?

According to current updates regarding the Ganga Expressway, its work is expected to be completed soon. The final phase of work is progressing rapidly. 

The new expressway is nearly complete, with only a small amount of work remaining. It is reported that only 7 percent of the entire expressway remains. This 7 percent will also be completed soon. 

When will the new expressway start? 

Uttar Pradesh's Ganga Expressway is expected to open soon. Its trial run is being analyzed and will begin soon. A progress report has been released by the Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPIDA). The progress report provides updates on the new expressway. 

Where will the new expressway go? 

The Ganga Expressway (UP) will begin in Meerut and extend to Prayagraj. The expressway will be 593 kilometers long. Work on the first phase has been completed from Rudauli in Meerut to Badaun, while the second phase is also nearly complete. In the first phase, 1,498 structures have been built and are currently receiving final finishing touches. 

The first phase covers 129,700 kilometers of road. The authority will expedite the completion of the remaining work. Yogi Adityanath's dream project will soon be operational.
 
The new expressway will pass through these districts 

Uttar Pradesh's new expressway will pass through 12 districts. The expressway will pass through 518 villages in 12 districts, including Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Rae Bareli, Unnao, Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, Badaun, Sambhal, Amroha, Bulandshahr, Hapur, and Meerut. The new expressway will enhance connectivity from Purvanchal to western Uttar Pradesh.
