OnePlus has launched its impressive flagship phone, the OnePlus 15 5G. The company launched the phone in India on November 13, 2025. It's considered a strong flagship phone, and tech experts believe it will rival the iPhone 17, iQOO 15, and other models.

However, many flagship buyers opt for iPhones priced around ₹80,000. However, the OnePlus 15 5G could finally be the model that can rival the iPhone 17 we've all been waiting for.

We've found three features of the OnePlus 15 that could surpass the iPhone 17 in terms of delivering a superior flagship experience. Let's take a closer look at these features.

165Hz Display - The OnePlus 15 5G features a performance-centric display with a 6.78-inch screen size. It is likely to feature LTPO AMOLED technology with a third-generation BOE flexible optical screen.

The smartphone is expected to have a 165Hz refresh rate, which is significantly higher than the 120Hz display on the iPhone 17. Therefore, gaming and everyday use will be smoother.

Triple Camera Setup - Despite the iPhone 17's price of ₹82,900, the phone supports a dual camera setup and lacks a telephoto lens.

The rear features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 primary camera sensor, along with a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 telephoto sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. The front features a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 sensor for selfies.

Performance - The OnePlus 15 will feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which could deliver better performance than the iPhone 17's A19 chip.

High-end performance for iPhones is reserved for the iPhone 17 Pro models with the A19 Pro chip. Furthermore, the OnePlus 15 is expected to have a 7,300 mAh battery, compared to the 3,692 mAh battery on the iPhone 17.
