Open AI Chat Gpt News

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman shared new details about ChatGPT Images on Wednesday. This is a new and updated feature powered by OpenAI's new image generation model.

The company says that this feature will allow users to easily create new images or edit old ones, with the results being exactly what the user intended.

New Image Tools in ChatGPT

Altman demonstrated how the new Images tab in ChatGPT can be used to create fun and creative images. For example, turn photos into 3D dolls, create sketches, design plush toys, doodle, create vacation photos, and more.

He also demonstrated what users can do with these features, such as creating holiday cards, retouching old photos, making their own photos look like famous paintings, designing key chains, creating album covers, or even suggesting matching outfits. Altman said the feature is very easy and fun to use.

Images 1.5 Available to all users

Altman said that Images 1.5 has now launched in ChatGPT and is also available via API. It will now offer better quality images, faster results, and new editing tools. To celebrate the launch, he shared a photo of himself as a firefighter.

OpenAI claims better photo editing

OpenAI says the new model can better understand user needs. Now, clothing and hairstyle try-ons will appear more realistic, style changes will be easier, and key details of the original photo will be retained.

The model can easily perform edits like adding and removing elements from photos, merging two images, and changing the layout.

Creative changes are also easy

ChatGPT also includes pre-made styles, eliminating the need to type long prompts. This model understands instructions more accurately than older versions. Can Images 1.5 compete with Google Gemini Nano Banana Pro?

Google recently launched impressive image editing features in Gemini, called Nano Banana. Now, OpenAI is moving in the same direction with Images 1.5.

The most important feature is that you can edit just a portion of a photo, leaving the rest intact. Adding, removing elements, changing colors, or changing styles is now easy.

ChatGPT also now has the ability to combine multiple photos into a single scene. Overall, OpenAI is clearly demonstrating its readiness to take on Google head-on, with tools that are incredibly easy for users to use.
