Before the start of the Rising Stars Asia Cup, spoke with Manish Ojha. When we asked him if he sees Vaibhav scoring a century in this tournament, his answer was yes. 

But Manish Ojha didn't stop there. He said of his trusted disciple, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, that not only will he score 100 runs, he'll score more than 100. And, in the matches he does, he'll do it in 12 to 13 overs.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi seemed to have listened to his mentor and coach Manish Ojha , and without waiting, he scored a century in the very first match of the Rising Stars Asia Cup. 

And not only did he score a century, he also proved some of his coach's predictions to be true, and in some cases, he even thwarted his predictions.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 144 runs off 42 balls in the first match against the UAE, hitting 15 sixes and 11 fours. He reached his century in 32 balls. 

This was not only Vaibhav Suryavanshi's first T20 match in an Indian jersey at any level, but also his first century. Simply put, he scored a century in his debut T20 innings in the blue jersey.
