Lava launches a stunning smartphone with a 50MP selfie camera, priced at just this much

Lava Agni 4 Launched in India: Indian smartphone company Lava has launched its new mid-range phone, the Lava Agni 4. It succeeds the Lava Agni 3, which was introduced in October 2024. 

The smartphone features a 6.67-inch 120Hz flat AMOLED display housed in an aluminum alloy metal frame. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset and packs a 5,000mAh battery. The phone also features a 50MP selfie camera.

Lava Agni 4 price and availability

The Lava Agni 4 is priced in India at ₹22,999 for the sole variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. However, the company states that this is introductory pricing and includes debit/credit card offers. 

The phone comes in two color options: Phantom Black and Lunar Mist. It will be available for purchase on Amazon starting November 25th at 12 noon.

Lava Agni 4 Features and Specifications

It features a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,400 nits local peak brightness, and 446 PPI pixel density. On the software front, the smartphone runs stock Android 15. 

The company promises three Android upgrades and four years of security updates. Its design features an aluminum alloy frame and an AG matte glass back. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone also comes with an IP64 dust and splash resistance rating.

It's powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone also features a VC liquid cooling system with a 4,300 sq mm area.

Camera features include a 50MP primary (f/1.88, OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50MP (EIS) front camera. Both the front and back cameras are capable of recording 4K 60fps video. 

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, USB 3.2 Type-C, an IR Blaster, dual stereo speakers, and a microphone
