Vivo is bringing a phone like a DSLR camera, it will be launched in India on this day

The Vivo X300 Series is launching in India on December 2nd. It will include the X300 and X300 Pro, featuring Zeiss-tuned cameras, the Dimensity 9500 chipset, and OriginOS based on Android 16. The series will be offered in India with an exclusive Red color option.

Vivo has announced the India launch date for its new flagship X300 Series. The series will include the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro. Both phones will launch in India on December 2nd. 

Both smartphones will feature a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera setup and support for a telephoto extender kit. The series will also launch in India in an exclusive red color variant, distinguishing it from the global models. Following its launch in China, Indian users have been eagerly awaiting this premium camera-focused flagship series.

India launch date and special colour variants

The Vivo X300 and X300 Pro will be launched in India on December 2nd at 12 noon. The company hasn't yet clarified whether the launch event will be live-streamed or a soft launch. 

Users are expected to be able to watch it on Vivo's social media and YouTube channel. Notably, the Vivo X300 series will arrive in India in an exclusive red colorway, which isn't available in the global market. This move reflects Vivo's focus on the Indian premium market.

Processor, software, and telephoto extender kit

The Vivo X300 series will launch in India with the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which will also be accompanied by the Pro Imaging VS1 chip and V3+ imaging chip. 

This setup significantly improves camera performance and processing speed. The company has also teased a Zeiss 2.35x telephoto extender kit, which increases optical zoom and maintains clarity. 

This kit comes with NFC-based instant lens recognition and supports the camera app's Teleconverter Mode. The phone will run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6, which will offer new features and a smooth user experience.

Camera setup: What will be the difference between the standard and Pro models

The Vivo X300 Pro will feature a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary camera, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and a 200MP HPB APO telephoto lens. 

A 50MP Samsung JN1 camera will be provided on the front. The standard model of the Vivo X300 will feature a 200MP HPB primary camera, a 50MP Sony LYT-602 telephoto lens, and a 50MP JN1 ultrawide lens. 

Its front camera will also come with a 50MP JN1 sensor. Both phones are poised to make a big impact in the market as camera-focused premium flagships.
